![]() ![]() So I went over and apologized to him, which it should have been the other way around- He proceeded to tell me he had a long day and wasn't in the mood! I should of cancelled and drove off right there. My wife and i were slightly embarrassed because we didn't know there was valet service nor did we see the valet booth. He didn't say welcome to the Dossier or anything! He got all upset and walked away. Upon pulling up using our GPS some guy jumps out and start opening my wifes door, WE didn't expect to have valet parking and i asked the guys how do i know your valet, because all he did was open the door. U hear it all! But, that is the only reason I can't give it 5 stars. I travel a ton, and this is the worst hotel for paper thin walls. Also, if you have neighbors coming in late to their rooms, you will be woken up. Don't expect to sleep in, if you stay here. They are also doing a ton of construction outside the hotel, and we could hear it all even am, even though we were on 18th floor. We were also by the maid closet so every am at 715am, there was a lot of noise outside our door with the maid opening and closing the closet door to get her supplies. We could hear our neighbors and hear water running upstairs. The only other complaint I would have is how thin the walls are. I spoke to the manager and he was very pleasant, apologized and bought us drinks at the lobby bar. ![]() ![]() Upon arrival BACK to our room at 5pm, after a day out, room was a mess, no new towels bed wasn't made. Our first night there, they forgot to clean our room. Rooms were very clean and up to date and the bed was very comfortable. Near food carts, walkable to pearl district, and we even walked to NW 23rd. Came to Portland for the weekend and got a screaming deal on 3 nights at the hotel. ![]()
